What is Weeti?
Weeti was founded by Filip Kiekens in 2026 as a means to provide specialized analytical chemistry support to private persons and enterprises mainly in the chemical, environmental and food industry.
In 2009, Filip graduated as Industrial Engineer Chemistry. After additional training in Environmental Sanitation and Management, he completed his PhD within the Laboratory for Toxicology at the University of Gent.
Since 2016 Filip worked as team lead, project manager and innovation specialist in the petrochemical, environmental and food/feed industry. He is specialized in analytical chemistry, mainly chromatography, mass spectrometry and lab automation.
Filip is also a MyGreenLab accredited professional.

Project Support
Are you looking to identify the best way of characterizing your process or product? Weeti can help you identify the most appropriate samples, analytical techniques and methods. We can also liaise with commercial laboratories or centers of expertise able to perform the necessary measurements. If needed we can also provide data interpretation support.
Analytical Chemistry
Are you in need of assistance to set-up, evaluate or update analytical methods or technologies? We have broad experience with organic and inorganic chemical characterization techniques and can assist you with method development, troubleshooting of methods, equipment and software. Assistance with the automation of sample preparation is also possible.
Training
Is your lab staff looking for help and/or development? We can provide training and hands-on guidance especially concerning chromatography and mass spectrometry. We are not linked to a specific instrument supplier and, as such, are flexible to support you regardless of your instrument portfolio.
